Isn't this a lovely piece of pine?
I think so. Mostly, because I'm picturing the nice new coffee table it will some day be transformed into. Some day!!

Now we can all ask him if he's built it yet. Might get you somewhere...:)

How long has this particular piece of pine been pining to become a coffee table? This will help us in feeling sorry for whomever it is that a) NEEDS the new coffee table, or b) has to BUILD the new coffee table. Please advise asap or immediately. (From the Person who wrote this)

Hey Wieska! If you go out to the pining pine, and start working on it yourself (I'll lend you some tools)... you will be able to appreciate the 'I-did-it-myself' feeling at the end of the day. If one leg is a little shorter than the other 3, who will ever know? Just pile some extra books under that side. Let me know if you need my wood working tools OK?? From Me.

Well, at least you tell who you are. That other writer won't tell.

I know. That Person is sabotaging this whole blog into nonsense - and all over a piece of pine. Imagine that.

Oh, by the way, it looks like there is a small scratch in the upper right hand corner, but don't worry, we can't see it. You might want to sandpaper that out Wieska, else someone might think you don't know how to make a coffee table. (Just thought I would help out with some advice. It's for free today.)

I would guess there's a hen pecking at your pine, Wiesk. And remind Martin that's better than you henpecking him to get at it.
If you do decide to do the DIY coffee table, can you please, please invite me? I would love to add that project to my list of things I've tried (and either succeeded or failed) :)
You made me smile with this one, Thanks!
